The club was founded in 2017 in Telde. In 2018 it competed as Telde Canes and later became Canarias Canes. [3]
In 2025-26 it was the only Canarian team in LNFA 2, placed in the South group. [2] Sources disagree on its ground: FEFA lists Campo de Fútbol La Angostura and the Spanish Bowl lists Estadio Municipal del Guiniguada, in Santa Brígida. [1] [3]
