The Pioners were born in 1988 in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, with Juan Jiménez as first president and quarterback, and were one of the four clubs that constituted the Catalan federation that same year. [1] [4]
FEFA's official records credit them with six LNFA titles (2005, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013) and nine Copas de España. [5] The club states it was the first Spanish team to win an international trophy, the 1996 Etnabowl in Italy; that claim only appears on its website and is pending confirmation. [1]
In 2025-26 the men's team played in LNFA Serie A and reached the Copa de España 2025 final; the women's team reached the LNFA Femenina semifinals. [3] [6]
